Frequently Asked Questions

Q:How did you get started?

A: I have always loved listening to music in my car, and I was amazed on how DJs could set the mood in a room filled with people. I started in September of 2023, djing in front of my class, and then in front of the whole school. From then on, I did birthday parties and school parties. Recently, I upgraded my equipment and software to professional level, after seeing that my original equipment had shortcomings.

Q: How do you prepare?

A: I always start by narrowing down by audience. For example, kids these days like rap and hip hop, so that is what I will play at their parties. And I know that adults like a wide variety of music, from rock to EDM. Next, I rehearse for hours and decide what music I will pick and use. Q: What is your most important value?

A: Effort. I will never go into a gig knowing that I am unprepared. The transitions and music must be perfect. However, I am also flexible. I'll take requests or adjust the mood to whatever my hosts sees fit.

Q: How much do you charge?

A: Variable. Depending on the size of party, how long it takes to prepare, and length of the party.

Q: What sets you apart from another DJ?

A: The music I play and my values. As a kid, I was always disappointed when the DJ had no idea what kids were listening to these days. I decided that I would make sure that kids would be able to get the full experience. However, even though I can play music for kids, I also can play music for adults, such as EDM or rock. My values are different because in every single gig I do, I prepare for it differently, specializing for each party.

Q: Are you self taught?

A: Yes, I am self taught.
